As a tribute to the "yeh fevicol ka jod hai, tootega nahi" Ad.
Some place in UP along the Delhi to Dehradun highway, these are images every one can relate to, right alongside mercs buzzing past you can see everything from elephants, camels and these jugad transports.
It is pure pleasure to travel along the Indian Highways, even through all the potholes and traffic jams and what not, they still have a unique quality to them, something that has me mesmerized, spellbound.
In some years these old highways will make room for grand 4-6 lane highways, slowly killing off the old ways, it is progress and can not be stopped, however some where in my head that tongue burning, sweet as hell tea on a cold-cold day with some thick-drenched in butter parothas, will have a place, forever, and i am sure many streches of highways will forever keep that charm people seem to hate.
